Operations Supervisor | Sommet Edelweiss


Ensures that the maintenance and operations of the ski lifts are in line with the objectives of the company.


  • Evaluates human resources needs within authorized budget allocations.
  • Selects and hires staff for vacancies, prepares work schedules, imposes disciplinary measures and ensures staff training.
  • Issue instructions relating to ski lift operations (work team) and demonstrate work methods; monitors the execution of tasks.
  • Supervises the flow of customers to the various ski lifts; takes the necessary measures to maximize the efficiency of the services offered under optimal security conditions in accordance with the laws, standards and methods in force.
  • Assigns staff to the various jobs to be performed according to established priorities.

Experience requirements

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Team management experience (asset).

Education requirements

  • High school diploma
  • A training program lasting at least one year or the equivalent (DEP).

Skills requirements

Must be fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
