Sommet Edelweiss | Ski Patrol

Description

A ski patrol is someone who provides emergency medical care and rescue services to patrons of a ski resort. Ski patrols also work to promote mountain safety by enforcing the ski hill policies, clearing debris from the ski trails, etc. Contrary to the name's implications, ski patrols can be snowboarders or telemark skiers.

As a ski patrol, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of users and compliance with mountain regulations. You will have to administer first aid and respond to emergency situations. You will check, install or move any signage or safety equipment and give various safety advice to users.
