LES SOMMETS: NEW MANAGERS OF THE CLUB DE GOLF LACHUTE

All facilities will be in operation as of Spring 2018

SAINT-SAUVEUR, Thursday, March 15, 2018 – Les Sommets de la Vallée is proud to announce that it has reached a management agreement with Broad Group, owner of the Club de Golf Lachute. Under this agreement Les Sommets will take over management of the Club de Golf Lachute.

“This agreement also strengthens our goal of diversifying our operations in the recreation sector. For nearly 100 years, Club de Golf Lachute has been a golfing landmark in Quebec, providing work for around 100 employees in the region,” says Louis Philippe Hébert, President and CEO of Les Sommets. Moreover, Les Sommets already manages and operates five ski hills, a water park, a tube-sliding park, nature camping and cabins, a tree-top course, a fun park and a minigolf course, all of which has made Les Sommets one of the region’s major economic drivers. The official opening of the golf course is set for late April. About the Club de Golf Lachute Located less than 45 minutes from Montreal, this golf club, established in 1923, offers golfers a course acknowledged to be among the most beautiful in the province. The club’s two public championship courses, featuring broad fairways, are ideal for golfers of all levels.
