SPRING BREAK 2019 AT LES SOMMETS
An array of activites that make the most of the abundant snow and fresh air of the Laurentians!

Sommet Saint-Sauveur, February 18, 2019 – With an almost historic winter in terms of abundant snowfall, and boasting an accumulation of close to 300 cm on the ground, the les Sommets group of ski centres is ready for spring break with an array of outdoor activities for all tastes and budgets. Whether you you’re keen to ski, snowboard or snow tube, ride the alpine rollercoaster or enjoy our snowshoe and cross-country ski trails, les Sommets offers every form of wintry pleasure.

AN AVALANCHE OF ACTIVITIES

Accessible to all visitors, skiers, non-skiers and thrill-seekers, our unique and diversified activities are sure to add an avalanche of adventurous fun to your spring break!

Ski & Ride
Learning trails, runs for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers, glade trails and snow parks: all are open for your enjoyment at each of our 5 Sommets. A total of 156 playground trails!

Snow tubing
Two snow tubing parks are available at Sommet Saint-Sauveur, versant Avila and Sommet Edelweiss in Outaouais. And don’t forget our 6-person rafting experience… guaranteed thrills!

Cross-country skiing
Sommet Morin Heights boasts some 130 km of cross-country ski trails, 65 km of them mechanically groomed and traversing some of the prettiest landscapes in the region. Equipment rentals on-site.

Snowshoeing
Also at Sommet Morin Heights, our snowshoeing trails will make you feel as though you’ve walked straight into a different Nordic country! Equipment rentals available.

Randonnée alpine (ski d’ascension)

Alpine hiking (uphill skiing)
A sport that we recently added at Sommet Olympia and Sommet Morin Heights, alpine skiing is a great outdoor option!

The Viking
The alpine rollercoaster at Sommet Saint-Sauveur goes down a 1.5 km stretch of the mountain at speeds of up to 35 km/hr. Unique in its kind in Quebec, the Viking is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hang onto your hat! This is a must-try all-season attraction!

The Dragon
Fully 43 metres high, the Dragon double zipline is a heart-pounding experience that also offers a splendid view of the Saint-Sauveur valley. Solo or tandem, soar like a bird on this unique zipline at Sommet Saint-Sauveur.

Fatbike
Snow biking has become very popular in the last few years. Try it for yourself at Sommet Morin Heights! Enthusiasts of this sport pedal over the mountain on twisting, supremely scenic trails.

Skating
Just a short distance from Sommet Saint-Sauveur, nestled in the heart of the village, are superb ice-skating paths that wind through forested landscapes. And they’re free! Two hockey rinks are also available, as well as two heated lodges for changing.

 



FANTASTIC SPRING BREAK CAMPS
There are still openings for our spring break ski and snowboard camps for kids ages 3 to 17. Whether you want regular or specialized lessons (snow park, pre-competition), most of our Snow Schools offer a great variety of courses that combine fun and learning. Available from March 4 to 7 and March 11 to 14, 2019.

THE SPRING SKI PASS IS BACK!
Each Sommet is ready to welcome the spring skiing season and its enthusiasts. With that in mind, our popular spring passes are for sale! Valid from February 28, at all times until the end of the season. Just in time for Quebec’s first week of spring break, the passes are your access to sensational skiing at affordable prices and prolong the pleasure of the longest ski season in Quebec!

Spring pass
Ski whenever you want starting February 28 and from just $69. The spring pass is definitely the smartest investment for making the most of a day on the slopes.

Discount ticket calendar
Buying your tickets ahead of time and online is the best way to save. Take advantage of discounts of up to 55% on day tickets and up to 53% for night tickets. Valid throughout spring break!

Learn to Ski package
This very special offer includes a private, 1-hour ski or snowboard lesson, a 2-hour pass (snow school + 2 descents on regular runs) and complete equipment for 2 hours. Starts at $65 (prices may vary depending with Sommet location).

Kids’ meals $4
Delicious family savings! Buy one adult meal for $13.95 (+ tx) and get a children’s meal (ages 12 and under) for just $4. Valid at all our resto-bars (except for the T-Bar 70).

$5 breakfast
Offer available only online and with the purchase of a ski ticket: the $4.99 breakfast option is an excellent way to start your day on the slopes.

INDULGE YOUR SWEET TOOTH TODAY!
The Sugar Shack (on the Avila side) opened for the season last February 16, resuming its annual tradition of typically sweet family meals, as well as vegetarian and vegan options (nights only). Located at the base of versant Avila, just a short hop from the snow tube hill, the Sugar Shack welcomes you with golden maple taffy and an ocean of maple syrup. APRÈS-SKI AT THE T-BAR 70
There’s nothing quite like sipping a drink by the fireplace and admiring the beautiful view of the lighted ski slopes at night. Also, enjoy live music on Sundays and Mondays with such artists at Sulé, Marc Fecteau, Bonnard and Jampack.
