Early Season Celebrations and Congratulations to the Kings of the Mountain

Saint-Sauveur, November 29, 2022 - After a successful opening of its ski season on November 16, Sommet Saint-Sauveur held the Quebec ski industry's first winter festivities. Presented by Molson Ultra, the Après Ski Party on November 26 really kicked off the winter season. The atmosphere was great and the crowd was large; close to 5000 people attended. It was a success all across the board.

The evening was also the perfect time to congratulate our two most fervent members. Claude Noël and Normand Desrochers compete for the GoPasse trophy every year. This trophy is awarded to the members who ski the most days and make the most runs in a season. For the 2021-2022 season, Mr. Noël and Mr. Desrochers tied with 155 days of skiing - skiing every day of the season! Mr. Desrochers also won the award for the most runs with a whopping 5825 runs in one winter. Congratulations to these kings of the mountain!

The event marks the return of large-scale celebrations at the station after almost 3 years of forced downtime due to the pandemic. It was a real pleasure to allow our members to live such an experience again. Thank you to all our participants. We look forward to seeing you at our next large-scale event on February 11, 2023; Les Beaux 4 heures, a fundraiser for the Martin-Matte Foundation taking place at Sommet Saint-Sauveur's versant Avila.
