Saint-Sauveur, Quebec, November 16, 2023 - It is with great honor and pride that les Sommets has accepted different distinctions this fall. These accomplishments highlight the ongoing dedication and expertise that les Sommets has demonstrated in the Quebec tourism community:
Presentation of the Médaille de la Députée by Ms. Sonia Bélanger
On November 13, Ms. Sonia Bélanger, MNA for Prévost, Minister responsible for Seniors and Minister Delegate for Health, awarded the Médaille de la Députée to two exceptional individuals who have contributed greatly to the history of Les Sommets.
Mr. Jacques Hébert
Founding member of lesSommets, builder, visionary entrepreneur and real estate developer, a man of integrity, simplicity and great human values. Mr. Jacques Hébert is honoured posthumously for his considerable legacy to the beautiful Laurentian region.
Mr. Louis Dufour
Pioneer and founding member of Les Sommets, inducted into the Laurentian Ski Hall of Fame, honoured by the Town of Saint-Sauveur and the Municipality of Piedmont, by renaming the Mont-Saint-Sauveur road Chemin Louis-Dufour. Posthumously, he received the Médaille de la Députée for his achievements, generosity and contribution to the success of Sommet Saint-Sauveur.
Ms. Bélanger was keen to underline the exceptional contribution of the recipients from different backgrounds who, through their actions, their careers, their values and their commitment, have made the circonscription shine: "These citizens have demonstrated outstanding know-how and determination. I'm very proud of their involvement and achievements in our community."
SNOW Operating presents the Partner Platinum Award to Les Sommets
Each year, SNOW Operating rewards the best resorts in its partner network with the title of "Platinum Partner". This is reflected in the overall resort culture, adherence to SNOW Operating philosophies, physical execution of program elements and overall guest experience. Les Sommets Group was awarded the prize for the 7th consecutive year for its exemplary performance and ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in winter 2022/23.
Among other things, this distinction reaffirms les Sommets' status as the best Snow School in North America.
