Sommet Morin Heights: Inauguration of the new bike trails

July 4th, 2023 Morin Heights Events

It's official: Sommet Morin Heights' bike trails have been inaugurated! In collaboration with Club Vélo Pays d'en Haut and the Municipality of Morin-Heights, 14 kilometers of new mountain bike trails are gradually being added to the existing Basler Park network. Thanks to our partners Toyota St-Eustache and SOPAIR (Société de plein air des Pays-d'en-Haut) for their ongoing involvement.

The inauguration evening took place at Sommet Morin Heights' station in the late afternoon of July 4. Master of Ceremonies Jacques Galarneau was present to warmly introduce the various parties involved in the project and provide further details. With its unique location in the heart of nature, the mountain is an excellent choice for mountain biking activities. "I think we're going to become the mountain biking hub of the Laurentians in the next few years," stated Martin Giroux, director of Sommet Morin Heights.

The trails are accessible now! Simply reserve your access ticket directly on the Municipality of Morin Heights' website.
