Saint-Sauveur, June 6, 2023 - Summer has arrived at Sommet Saint-Sauveur! For the warm season, many events will spice up our wide range of activities. Here's an overview of our key summer dates.
June 17: Summer launch event and Premiere of the movie Coeur de Slush
Sommet Saint-Sauveur's Water Park's launch event takes place on June 17. The day will be packed with fun, including gifts for the first visitors to the Water Park and a host of exclusive activities! In the evening, we'll welcome the team and stars of Coeur de Slush, a fantastic summer film shot at Sommet Saint-Sauveur's Water Park, for a premiere screening at the Super Wave Pool! The feature film, directed by Marilou Wolfe, is adapted from the novel of the same name by Sarah-Maude Beauchesne. By entering a contest, visitors have the chance to attend the screening with the film's team. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the aquatic facilities, bask in the sun and meet the stars of Coeur de Slush for what promises to be a fabulous day.
June 27 - July 2: AKAMP
This year marks the 13th edition of AKAMP, Eastern Canada's only summer snow park! Taking place at Sommet Saint-Sauveur's versant Avila, the camp will welcome all snow sports enthusiasts and thrill-seekers.
A number of internationally renowned athletes will be on site to give spectacular demonstrations and cheer on camp participants. The event represents a unique opportunity to practice skiing and snowboarding in the heart of summer.
Early July: Inauguration of the new Children's Island
The children's area at Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park gets a makeover for the 2023 summer season! Larger, more comfortable and equipped with all-new water games and modules, the new play area represents a $500,000 investment.
August 5, 2023: Pinso's birthday party
Every summer, we celebrate the birthday of Pinso, our beloved penguin mascot. This year, we're celebrating in style: cake, inflated structures, a parade, live music, entertainment and more! The celebrations will take place at the Water Park.
Outdoor movie nights
Take a step back in time at Sommet Saint-Sauveur's Parc F.U.N. this summer! Featured at the outdoor movie nights: Grease, Footloose, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Top Gun. The 4 cult films will be shown on July 7, July 21, August 4 and August 18, respectively. All our visitors are invited to come and enjoy these classics under a starry sky.
Surf sessions
Surf sessions in the Super Wave Pool are back on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Sommet Saint Sauveur's Water Park. Introductory and open sessions are offered all summer long. It's also possible to rent a board on site, allowing anyone to try out the sport. All dates are available on our website.
Hike x Yoga
This activity lets participants practice two sports at the same time! The Hike x Yoga outings at Sommet Saint-Sauveur offer the chance to climb the mountain and do a yoga session at the summit. All dates are available on our website.
