Sommet Saint Sauveur Ski Soiree

Major investments unveiled

Les Sommets is announcing a wide range of new attractions and investments for the 20252026 season, with a mission to provide unforgettable experiences for families and snowsports enthusiasts.

The Enchanting Experience of L’Odyssée du Viking : La conquête de la nuit

The adventure continues under the stars with L’Odyssée du Viking : La conquête de la nuit, a unique year-round experience in Quebec. This alpine coaster transforms into an immersive adventure with dazzling light projections. Step into a magical atmosphere as night falls.

A New LED-Lit Trail at Sommet Saint-Sauveur

The ever-popular Trail 72 will now shine with LED lights, bringing the total number of illuminated trails to 30, much to the delight of skiers and snowboarders.

Eco-Friendly Lighting for the Best Night Skiing

Committed to sustainable development, Les Sommets continues its green initiatives with LED lighting installed on all summit transit routes.

New SnoPrk: Great News for Freestyle Enthusiasts!

The SnoPrk is being redesigned on the Laurentides trail to provide an even smoother andmore rider-friendly terrain. The addition of a rope tow, a lift you hold onto with a rope, createsan entirely new rail garden zone. Specifically designed and filled with various features, thisarea allows freestyle enthusiasts to stay in action and maximize their time in the SnoPrk. The Grande Ourse and Piedmont trails will also reopen to the public.

Ongoing Improvements to the Chairlift Experience

Skiers, especially beginners, will enjoy a better experience thanks to the addition of a conveyor loading carpet at the Sommet Express chairlift. This improvement makes access easier for everyone and enhances the flow of boarding. It further reinforces the Sommet Express as one of Quebec’s most modern chairlifts. In addition, eight access gates will ensure quick and efficient boarding, keeping chairs fully loaded at all times.

Artificial Intelligence at the Service of Safety

Les Sommets continues to position itself as an industry leader by testing artificial intelligence to assist in the operation of the Sommet Express, a first in Canada. This initiative complements the existing BlueCime safety system already in place on several lifts, reaffirming the group’s top priority: visitor safety.

The Cadillac of Snow Groomers for Perfect Slopes

With the arrival of the brand-new Prinoth Lightwolf snow groomer, skiers will enjoy impeccable conditions, all within a sustainable approach. Ultra-modern and oversized, this cutting-edge machine makes grooming more efficient than ever. Its versatility allows it to perform equally well on large slopes as on technical terrain like the SnoPrk.

Major Renovations to the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Pavilion Terrace

Visitors can also enjoy the fully renovated terrace of the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Pavilion. With new flooring, a redesigned outdoor bar, and a $60,000 investment in a high-quality soundsystem, the 20252026 season promises to be festive!

Optimization of Snowmaking Systems

The ongoing optimization of snowmaking systems across all mountains reflects Les Sommets’ commitment to providing impeccable skiing conditions.

A New Glade at Sommet Gabriel

Off-piste enthusiasts will be delighted by the addition of a new glade. Named Le Caribou, it will be located on the south side of Sommet Gabriel.

Fun for Families

For a cozy family meal, visit Jack Rabbit, the family-friendly restaurant and après-ski spot on the versant Avila of Sommet Saint-Sauveur. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to gather after a great day on the slopes. Families and children will also be thrilled to see Pinso, the Sommet Saint-Sauveur mascot, sporting a fresh new look.

Coming Soon: La Place du Sommet

Finally, a large-scale project will create a new way to experience the mountain year-round. Accessible via a chairlift that itself becomes part of the adventure; La Place du Sommet will offer a unique mountaintop space where nature, history, and innovation come together. Interactive walking trails, treetop suspension bridges, a friendly outdoor agora, and a general store evoking the charm of old alpine villages. Everything is designed to amaze, entertain, and bring people together. Opening is scheduled for fall 2026.
