Sommet Saint-Sauveur will enhance the region’s offerings with La Place du Sommet, a new year-round tourist attraction in the Laurentians accessible by chairlift. Representing one of the largest investments in a tourist attraction in Quebec for 2026, this major project offers a fresh way to experience the mountains, focusing on community, discovery, and shared enjoyment.
Starting September 26, 2026, Sommet Saint-Sauveur will begin rolling out La Place du Sommet, a new year-round tourist attraction set to become a must-see destination in the Laurentians. The first phase of the project will allow visitors to explore a network of suspension bridges offering spectacular views of the Saint-Sauveur Valley and the surrounding region.
The second phase, scheduled for spring 2027, will enhance the experience with the addition of an agora and a general store inspired by Alpine villages. Access to this destination will then be transformed with the arrival of a new high-speed 6-person chairlift featuring a boarding carpet, scheduled to begin operation in December 2027. Representing one of the region’s largest tourism investments, La Place du Sommet will offer a new way to experience the mountains by focusing on community, discovery, and shared enjoyment.
The adventure isn't over yet! Extend your stay in the Valley and enjoy a wide variety of activities.
