Les Sommet is proud to offer 3 different categories of competition teams in all our different ski areas: alpine skiing, moguls skiiing and freestyle (ski and snowboard) SnoPrk.
In addition, we offer a training center for competition teams looking to perfect their skills in a stimulating environment.
The various alpine ski racing teams offer complete training programs for skiers aged 6 to 21. These programs are offered at all les Sommets ski areas. However, options and specialties may differ from mountain to mountain.
Our moguls teams have made a name for themselves over the years by focusing on the next generation of skiers. Olympic gold medalists Mikaël Kingsbury and Alexandre Bilodeau began their training at les Sommets. These programs are available at both Sommet Saint-Sauveur and Sommet Gabriel.
This program is designed for young skiers and snowboarders ages 10-17. The development program teaches the basics of the terrain park in a supervised training environment, while the competition program focuses on the technical and mental skills needed to succeed in competition. The competition team competes in regional and provincial slopestyle events.
Known for having the longest snow season in Quebec thanks to its unique snowmaking capacity, Sommet Saint-Sauveur is proud to be the only off-season training center near Montreal offering exclusive terrain rental, less than 45 minutes from Montreal.
