The Bar team leader asigns tasks to Bar staff and ensures the availability of bar supplies.
Account for items on hand and prepare purchase orders necessary to maintain adequate inventory levels in liquor and supply warehouses.
Verifies the compliance and quality of merchandise used in the bar; ensures that non-conforming merchandise is returned and replaced.
Inspects the operation of dispensing equipment and systems and arranges for maintenance and repairs as needed.
Organizes dining room service
Performs bartending duties
Prepares work schedules and tracks hours worked by bar staff
Ensures application of customer service and bar operations policies; demonstrates work methods and supervises performance of tasks.
Two (2) years of bartending experience required, including supervisory experience
Hygiene and Food Safety – Food Handler certification (an asset)
At least one (1) year of basic bartending training from a recognized organization
