Les Sommets unveils The Viking Odyssey: Conquer the Night

Discover the Laurentians’ newest immersive nighttime alpine coaster

Since June 6 2025, visitors at Sommet Saint-Sauveur have been able to conquer the mountain and enjoy the sunset like nowhere else in Quebec thanks to the launch of
L’Odyssée du Viking : La conquête de la nuit. This new feature enhances the existing alpine coaster by inviting thrill-seekers to explore a breathtaking 1.5 km ride. The experience is elevated with an immersive Nordic mythology-themed production, combining lighting effects, ambient sound, and dazzling visuals.

Offered exclusively at dusk, The Viking Odyssey experience requires an advance time-slot reservation to fully enjoy the spectacular view and expertly designed lighting effects.

"The Viking Odyssey is a one-of-a-kind, four-season adventure you won’t find anywhere else in Quebec. It’s the only alpine coaster of its kind — and we’ve added an immersive dimension that’s truly impressive. A wide array of attractions

A popular destination for families and groups of friends, Les Sommets also stands out for the variety of activities offered at Parc F.U.N, including rides, a double zipline, mini-golf, and more. It’s the perfect spot for vacationers looking to support local tourism this year.

The Water Park remains a must for those looking to cool off during their day at Sommet Saint-Sauveur. Unique in Canada, the Colorado River offers a rafting experience through fast-moving rapids, while La Manic carries swimmers toward a vast beach. Thrill-seekers will also enjoy The Torrents, two 120-metre slides that deliver a high-speed adrenaline rush. The park promises a refreshing, exciting, and fun-filled day for the whole family.

Thanks to the weather guarantee, visitors can make the most of their day without worrying about the rain spoiling their experience. If more than 10 consecutive minutes of rainfall occur on the day of the visit between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, a complimentary ticket will be offered.
