Les Sommets Celebrates 40 Years of the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park and Launches an Exciting Summer Season

Summer 2026 is shaping up to be unforgettable at Sommet Saint-Sauveur as the Water Park celebrates its 40th anniversary. For four decades, generations of families and friends have chosen this iconic Laurentians destination to make the most of summer, and this season promises even more opportunities to create lasting memories.

A 40th Anniversary Celebration You Won't Want to Miss

To mark this milestone, les Sommets is launching a special offer: 40% off online daily admission tickets to the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Water Park.

This promotion will be available exclusively on June 20, 2026, during the "Viens te baigner" event, which will officially kick off the summer season. It's the perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover one of Quebec's largest mountain water parks.

For 40 years, the Water Park has welcomed visitors from across Quebec and continues to evolve to offer an even more complete experience for families, groups of friends and outdoor enthusiasts visiting the Laurentians.

Exciting New Developments for the Years Ahead

Les Sommets continues to invest in improvements to the Water Park to provide even greater comfort for guests. New cabanas will be added to meet the growing demand for private, shaded spaces. Four large shade structures will also be installed throughout the site, along with a new canopy above the T-BAR 70 terrace.

In the evening, visitors can enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience aboard L'Odyssée du Viking : la conquête de la nuit, the illuminated alpine coaster at Parc F.U.N., a must-try attraction in the Laurentians.

Starting October 2, 2026, visitors will be able to experience the first phase of La Place du Sommet at Sommet Saint-Sauveur. This new mountain attraction will feature suspended walkways offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Saint-Sauveur Valley and the Laurentians. The second phase of the project, including a gathering plaza and a general store, is scheduled to open in spring 2027. The experience will be further enhanced with the addition of a new six-passenger high-speed chairlift featuring a loading conveyor, replacing the existing Côte 71 chairlift. Scheduled for completion in December 2027, it will become the primary gateway to La Place du Sommet.

Thrill-seekers can also look forward to the arrival of Harricana. Beginning in summer 2027, this new waterslide will deliver an adrenaline-filled experience as families and friends ride together in a raft accommodating up to five passengers, twisting and spinning their way down an unforgettable course.

At the Sommet Saint-Sauveur Bike Park, teams continue to enhance the trail network and will be developing a new beginner-friendly trail this summer, making downhill mountain biking even more accessible for families and first-time riders.

The rental fleet has also been expanded with the addition of new bikes, including several Rocky Mountain models, allowing even more visitors to experience the sport.

From July 8 to August 12, the Wednesday nights, presented in partnership with "Cycles Cadieux", will bring together the riding community for festive evenings featuring music, BBQs, promotions and laps with friends.
